Hi, I’m Josh better known as DJ Jitter Bug! My journey has brought together my two biggest passions: music and working with Children. I’ve been a professional DJ since I was 16, performing at clubs, corporate events, weddings and private parties. But I’m more than just a DJ. I’m also a former teacher and have years of experience running kids’ camps, after-school programs, kids’ clubs, and therapeutic programs for children. My extensive background working with children enable me to know exactly how to engage young audiences, keep their attention, and create an environment where every child feels celebrated.
That’s why I started Jitter Bug Discos—Melbourne’s only professional DJ service exclusively focused on children’s events. For kids aged 3 to 12, I offer a professional sound and light setup along with custom games, sing-alongs, and dances designed just for them. Combining my DJ skills with my teaching and youth work experience, I create parties that are more than just fun—they’re memorable, inclusive, and age-appropriate.
